Check that microphone access is enabled in Settings, that no other app is using the microphone, and that your device is not muted for recording. Wind and traffic noise can also drown out a distant bird.
Identification is a probability, not a certainty. Background noise, overlapping birds, and species that sound alike all make it harder. Getting closer and recording a longer, clearer song usually improves the result.
Only confirmed captures are added to your album. If Warble was not confident enough, it asks you to pick from the closest matches instead of guessing.
Purchases are handled by Apple. To manage or cancel, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions. Refunds are requested directly from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
