WARBLE

Terms of Service

Last updated: August 17, 2026

1. Acceptance

By downloading or using Warble you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. License

We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use Warble on devices you own or control, for personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the app or its data.

3. Subscriptions and billing

Warble may offer paid features through auto-renewing subscriptions or one-time purchases. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID settings. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

4. Identification accuracy

Warble identifies birds by sound using a machine learning model, and identification is a probability, not a certainty. Results can be wrong, especially with background noise, distant or overlapping birds, unusual calls, or species that sound alike. Warble is intended for personal enjoyment and learning. Do not rely on it for scientific research, conservation reporting, regulatory compliance, legal claims, or any decision where a misidentification could cause harm.

5. Respect for wildlife

Use Warble responsibly. Do not disturb birds, nests, or habitats in order to record them, and follow local laws and land access rules wherever you use the app.

6. Acceptable use

Do not use Warble to record identifiable conversations or other people without their knowledge, to break any law, or to interfere with the app's normal operation. You are responsible for how you use the microphone in the places you use it.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

Warble is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error free, or accurate.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Warble. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the twelve months before the claim.

9. Changes

We may update these terms as the app evolves. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed.
